FileDirector Express, with support for up to 10 users, and including version control, document audit trail and full text OCR (ENG) as standard, is ideally suited to many types and sizes of business applications.
This will not surprise you, but what will is that FileDirector express is available for only a small rental fee per month, and can be easily installed by the customer themselves.
How does that work?
The customer can install FileDirector express on their workstation or server from the supplied USB Stick, no preparatory configuration is necessary, as the installation takes care of it. During the installation, Microsoft SQL Express will be automatically installed and configured, if required. The installation needs only 600MB, with further space to store the documents required.
There is also no need to create scan profiles in Enterprise Manager, as the WinClient will automatically detect any attached scanners (TWAIN only).
One user licence is included by default, up to a maximum of 10, which can be added to the rental cost. Management of users is performed internally by FileDirector.
The customer Licence and Rental Agreement will be concluded between the distributor and the customer. There are no investment costs or risks.
